Boomerang on the Road

Kyalie Moore

Hi, my name is Kyalie Moore.  I'm a proud Yamatji woman and the founder of Boomerang Consultancy - a grassroots, Aboriginal-led business committed to healing, justice, and the prevention of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence right across Australia.

Kyalie has spent nearly two decades in the family, domestic and sexual violence sector. She has supervised men’s behaviour change programs, trained frontline workers and supported victim survivors across Western Australia. Now she is taking that experience nationwide.

I would like to welcome you on my journey, Boomerang on the Road. A solo road trip for Healing, Justice and Change across Australia.

"Kyalie's warmth and genuine personality make it easy for you to have conversations that might otherwise feel uncomfortable - whether in the training room, online, at work, or privately, she creates a space that invites and facilitates conversations. In the context of family and domestic violence, Kyalie excels at simplifying complex theories and concepts so that others can understand them and actively engage in meaningful discussions."

Support the cause

Where I am travelling is where change is needed most, and where cultural safety and community voices must be at the centre of that change. This journey will allow me to deliver training, facilitate yarning circles, and support local services and workers on the front line. I'll be listening, learning, and walking alongside communities as they share their stories, their solutions and their strengths.

This is more than a road trip - it's a movement. A chance to Boomerang wisdom and resources back to communities, while bringing their voice forward into the national spotlight.

I have created a gofundme page to support my travel into these rural and remote communities, any and all support would be more appreciated than you know.
By supporting this journey, you're standing with an Aboriginal-led solution grounded in community, culture and country. Together we can shift how Australia responds to violence- not just reactively, but with prevention, respect, and truth at the heart of it.

Thank you for your support, every cent helps Stamp Out FDSV. I'll be coming to a community near you.
- Kyalie

I’m so grateful for these incredibly strong women who bravely lifted their voices this week. Thank you for trusting me with your stories — it’s an honour to hold space for them.

Holding space in Carnarvon Western Australia

Special moments in my home town of Carnarvon. I was invited to speak at the International Women's Day gathering at the Gwoonwardu Mia Cultural Centre. It was an absolute honour to stand along side incredible women - young and old. I also got to spend some time talking to some awesome men in the community collecting their stories and having powerful and honest conversations. Thank you Carnarvon.
