Chapter 8 - From Darwin to Wherever

Published on 14 June 2026 at 16:24

Hi Peeps,

I’ve officially been on the road for 16 weeks, and what a journey it has been so far.

As I reflect on the past four months, I’m proud to say it has been an incredibly productive and rewarding experience. Everywhere I travel, I’m seeing Boomerang Consultancy’s footprint grow stronger in the communities I visit, and it’s encouraging to witness the impact of this work firsthand.

Over the past 16 weeks, I have delivered Safe & Together CORE and Overview training across more than ten communities throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory, with 74 participants successfully completing the training.

Beyond the training rooms, I’ve had the privilege of sitting alongside women across WA and the NT, sharing stories through women’s healing circles and On Country camps. These moments of connection, strength, and cultural healing continue to be some of the most meaningful parts of this journey.

While travelling, I have also continued to provide monthly Cultural Supervision remotely, alongside ongoing private consultancy work. It’s been a balancing act, but one that allows me to stay connected to communities both near and far.

The road ahead is just as exciting. Communities across Australia continue to reach out to Boomerang Consultancy with invitations to visit and collaborate. As I wrap up my time in Darwin, I’m now setting my sights on Cairns and the East Coast.

I’m looking forward to expanding my journey, deepening relationships, and continuing to “Stamp It Out” through education, meaningful conversations, capacity building, cultural supervision, healing circles, community engagement, and whatever else the road presents.

A few milestones so far:

  • 74 training participants across WA and the NT
  • Safe & Together training delivered in more than 10 communities
  • 50 Boomerang on the Road polo shirts sold
  • Co-designed Stamp It Out resources alongside survivors of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence
  • Countless conversations, connections, and shared stories along the way

The exciting part? I’m not even halfway through this journey.

If there’s one thing this adventure is teaching me, it’s that every road has a story. As I continue discovering Australia through my windscreen, I’m learning as much from the people and places I encounter as I am from the work itself.

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into your communities, shared your stories, supported the vision, and travelled alongside me.

There are many more kilometres, conversations, and stories still to come.

Until the next stop, stay safe and keep stamping it out. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿงกโœจ
